Kai is a legendary ronin who died defending innocent civilians during the Siege of Osaka. Revived through a forbidden blood ritual, he returned bound to a cursed blade that thirsts for the blood of the wicked. Neither hero nor monster, Kai walks a path guided by justice, protecting the innocent and hunting those who spread suffering. Though cursed with an endless hunger, his unwavering will transformed it into a weapon against the unjust. Kai's Mantra: "I was not granted a second life. Only a chance to continue my mission."

Kai recovers Health when he deals damage, as his cursed blade absorbs the blood spilled in battle and converts it into vitality.
When an enemy falls below 25% Health, visible blood awakens the hunger within Kai's cursed blade, granting him increased Attack Speed and Damage against wounded targets.
